PR Mobile Caravan Servicing

Why do I need to have my caravan/motorhome serviced?

Your caravan/motor-home needs to be regularly serviced to ensure road worthiness and the habitation areas need regular inspections to make sure there has been no deterioration. 

How often should I have my caravan/motor-home serviced?

Caravans and motor-homes should be serviced on an annual basis - even if  is used only a couple of times a year.  Lack of use can cause its own problems.

What do I get when I my caravan/motor-home has had a service?

You will receive a detailed  service schedule indicating what checks have been undertaken during the service and, any remedial action that has been carried out or that needs further attention.  

Do I need to empty my caravan/motor-home before a service?

We don't expect your caravan/motor-home to be totally empty.  The less there is the easier it is for us to work on; we do ask that the centre of the caravan/motor-home is clear. If you are unsure what to remove please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

What type of vehicle do you service/repair?

We will work on motor-homes (body only not mechanical), touring caravans, trailers and horse boxes.

How long does a service take?

A service normally takes approximately 4-5 hours, however, in some cases in can take up to 8 hours as we are extremely thorough in our checks.

What does a service cover?

We work to a specific check sheet for both Motor-homes and caravans.

Do I have to bring my caravan to you?

We are a mobile service so we can service your caravan/motor-home wherever it is located: home, pitch or storage. Our van is fully equipped so we can perform the necessary tests required within the service just as if you'd taken your vehicle to a workshop but without the hassle.

What if you find problems during my service?

Any problems or issues found will be fully discussed and we will offer possible solutions and costs involved.

Do you deal with emergency repairs? Is there a call-out charge?

Yes we do emergency repairs.  Emergency call outs carry a standard call out fee, which includes: travel, the first 30 mins of diagnosis on site, further time to repair and parts.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major cards, bank transfer and cash.

Do you carry out water ingress/damp repairs and how much do they cost?

Yes we can do water ingress repairs and the pricing structure is unique to each job as no two jobs are alike, estimates will be given after a visual inspection.
